In June 2016, the News and Advance hired me as a part time graphic designer. My responsibilities included designing ads and editing ads for upcoming events. I worked largely with typography, layout, and color to make ads more appealing and eye-catching to readers. The design below showcases two black and white campaign ads that I re-designed in color to reflect the feeling of an elegant, red carpet award night.
